It’s Been Five Years
Feb
Since me and hubby have transferred here in Makati. We haven’t transferred to another place since we got married. The place is needing some fixing though. The kitchen needs some repair, the blinds are becoming unattached, the bathroom sink becoming clogged. But even if some things are like that, we aren’t thinking of moving, unless our eldest will go to a school a bit far from here but that’s years if ever that will happen. For now, we like living here in Makati since everything seems accessible. We’ve gotten used to living here because we’re near the malls, groceries, offices, church, hospital and market too.
Oh well, I hope the unit owner of the place where we live will let us continue renting.
Needs Extra Help
Nov
We need an extra help soon. There used to be three helpers but due to some circumstances, we decided to terminate one. The expenses have increased 25% and it’s huge, compared when the second helper arrived before. Many appliances were also broken. Hubby couldn’t take any more when this helper became the reason of the kids’ last allergy attack. Yes, all of our kids suffered from allergy at the same time, which lasted for a week. He really got mad at the helper.
So now, there are two helpers here at home and we are having a hard time, especially during night time. But that’s better than before. The house is more peaceful. But we still need one extra help. I wish we could find one soon!

Household Help
Aug
Ate M has been staying with us for more than two years. She’s trusted, being our messenger whenever there’s a need. I remember she was the one who took care of processing my Philhealth benefits when I was pregnant and after I’ve given birth. She just used to be DK’s babysitter but when my mom left, she became our cook as well. She’s been really helpful but sometimes, lazy. Well, I guess like any other human being, we do get lazy, right? But overall, she’s been really helpful. I hope she’ll stay for a long time with us.
False Alarm
Aug
It was Tuesday morning, the helper is cooking when we heard the fire alarm in the building. We went to check the alarm indicator to know which floor caused the alarm to trigger but when we reached it, the alarm went off already. It’s always like that, the alarm being triggered but when checked, it’s a false alarm. It always makes us feel nervous every time but relieved afterwards. We just hope that there won’t come a time that the alarm is real. If ever, we hope there’s a medical air evacuation available to help us in times of needs. We live in a building where we can’t just go out in case of emergency. Knowing there’s a help like this will make us feel at ease.

Acquaintance Party
Jul
I attended the building’s acquaintance party last Saturday. This was the first part I attended ever since me and hubby lives in this condominium. I brought my daughter with me so that she can meet other kids too. We went there at exactly 4pm but the party hasn’t started yet. So, we went around and so a guy using an e-cig. He is selling some and told has he has booth near the elevator. We checked it and saw different types of e-cigarettes. There were many other people who are looking at his items.
We want back to our table then after a few minutes, I can smell cigarette smoke. I thought “is it coming from the e-cig?”. I couldn’t take the smell and worried my daughter might have asthma attack again after so we transferred to a table near the food. When I looked back at the table where we were, I saw guys beside it smoking real cigarettes. They should have used the e-cigarettes instead of the real one.
