One of the best chocolates I’ve eaten and is my current favorite. Too bad I can’t eat as much as I want because I’m still breastfeeding. Besides, if my eldest sees me eating, she’ll ask for it too and she can’t eat too much sweets because it’ll trigger her asthma.

Baptism

I attended my cousin’s daughter’s baptism last week. Alexie Sophia, the baby’s name, is their first born. She just turned two-months old but quite big for her age. I was one of the godmothers but I wasn’t able to go to the actual event at the church because I thought it hasn’t started yet. It was embarrassing since when I was about to go inside the church, they were all coming out from the chapel. The christening was performed in the chapel due to some event in the main church.

I was very apologetic and just went to the reception afterwards. I first gave my cousin the gift without a gift card sleeves (due to time constraint) but also gave her wife some cash before I left. I was able to see some of my relatives again. I left after more than an hour because I have the babies waiting for me.

Sick

It’s hard when a family member is sick, much more if it’s the kids. My eldest and youngest are both sick. Ate I have asthma attack while Al, I don’t know what her sickness is. I’ve brought them both at the pedia (different day). However, I’m much worried about Al, she got a fever but we don’t know what could be the cause. Her doctor said she has a sore throat which could be causing it. She got a 40.3 degree Celsius fever last night so I asked her babysitter to sleep with me in the room.

Her fever got lower this morning but I’m still worried. Now the other twin have colds. If only I could take all of their sickness away. I hope it’s me who’s sick than them.

It’s Been Five Years

Since me and hubby have transferred here in Makati. We haven’t transferred to another place since we got married. The place is needing some fixing though. The kitchen needs some repair, the blinds are becoming unattached, the bathroom sink becoming clogged. But even if some things are like that, we aren’t thinking of moving, unless our eldest will go to a school a bit far from here but that’s years if ever that will happen. For now, we like living here in Makati since everything seems accessible. We’ve gotten used to living here because we’re near the malls, groceries, offices, church, hospital and market too.

Oh well, I hope the unit owner of the place where we live will let us continue renting.

Friday Fill-Ins 2/10/12

1. When it comes time to make a decision, I back out.
2. Be firm when a decision has been made, that must be the rule.
3. Ma says, I don’t know anything about everything.
4. Working at the same time taking care with the kids is always a struggle.
5. I never saw the dress I wanted in the store.
6. Multi-tasking, not a new invention.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to working till midnight, tomorrow my plans include going to a baptismal and Sunday, I want to go out with the kids!
